Sato Race Concept Titanium Axle Shaft

SATO RACING Race Concept* Titanium Axle Shaft is a specially designed axle shaft carved from a solid rod of 6Al 4V titanium, for superior strength and lighter weight compared to the stock part, or even compared to other titanium alloys. Both ends of the shaft are press-fitted with a cap made of abrasion-resistant Delrin, for protection from scrapes or other damage in the event of a fall. Kit includes a special socket wrench (made by TONE) which fits the corner points at the end of the shaft. (This product is a collaboration with OFA Co., Ltd).
The Sato titanium axle shaft includes a specially machined socket designed to fit around the end of the axle. The design varies depending on specific axle model.
This is typically a made-to-order item and if units are not immediately available the expected lead time is 6-8 weeks.
