More engine compression equals more power, and the easiest way to get more compression is by using a thinner cylinder head gasket.  Apha Racing, one of the leading S1000RR peformance specialists, offers a thinner gasket (0.87mm vs 1.02mm) for 2009 thru 2018 S1000RRs.
