| SATO RACING 'Race Concept' Rear Sets are pure, no-compromise racing rear sets intended for track-only bikes. Originally designed for race bikes competing in endurance races in Japan such as Suzuka 8 Hours and the All-Japan road race series, these premium rearset foot controls for the R1 are not for everyone, but may suit your needs if you have a dedicated track bike and are looking for a higher and more setback range of positions than the positions provided by standard R1 Rear Sets. The 'Race Concept' Rear Sets -design version 1 (vr.15)- for 2015 and up Yamaha YZF-R1/ M feature components precision CNC-machined out of high strength billet aluminum, with your choice of Black anodized finish with Gold accents, or Gold over Black. Modular step plate design lets you select from 5 adjustable positions that raise your foot position up to 47.5mm higher and 25mm-45mm further back compared to stock, for a more aggressive riding position well suited for the track. You can use these Rear Sets with the stock shifting pattern, or switch them to reverse (GP-style) shift pattern. We have 2 versions of these Rear Sets: Part# Y-R115RCRS fits 2015-17 R1. Part# Y-R118RCRS fits 2018+ R1. (Same design but has slightly different hardware optimized for the 2018+ type quickshifter) NOTE: Not recommended for street use. Not compatible with stock brake light switch sensor or stock exhaust hanger. Compatibilty with ABS may also be affected. |

The double-ended shift pedal has multiple adjustment points for fine-tuning the shifter feel.
To change to reverse (GP) shift pattern, relocate the shift rod to the opposite end of the pedal.

The Foot Peg position adjustment range is 35mm to 47.5mm Up and 25mm to 45mm Back
compared to the OEM peg position. The Pedal Tip (toe peg) position can also be adjusted.
