Yamaha YZF-R1 / YZF-R1M (2025-2026)

We will give your bike an additional 17-25 rear wheel horsepower (results may vary based on modifications) and remove all throttle and timing restrictions on the bike from the factory that US model YZF-R1 models have. This does not impact reliability.

There may be less expensive flashing services out there, but what sets us apart and makes our flash such an excellent value is the extensive dyno testing and tuning we have done. Most other providers of these types of services are using generic mapping that leaves a lot of power on the table and compromises the overall smoothness of the motorcycle. We've spent countless hours on R&D and dyno development and the end result is the flash we offer.  This is the same ECU flash we use on our championship-winning YZF-R1 race bikes. This service was developed by our tuner using the same methods and and strategies he used in MotoAmerica Superbike with Westby Racing during their highly successful racing campaign.

As development continues, we will offer free updates to customers, you only pay shipping.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a mail-in service, your ECU must be removed and shipped to us. Once you've completed your purchase a registration form will be e-mailed to the address provided and will contain the questions regarding bike modifications as well as shipping instructions. This form is required.

Our 2020+ YZF-R1 ECU Flash features 4 custom full power throttle and ignition maps integrated into Power modes 1-4. This is not to be confused with presets A,B,C,D.

PWR 1 features a very aggressive, quick turn throttle feel. PWR 2 is a bit more linear in how it reacts and has less sensitivity than PWR 1. Many racers and track day users prefer this throttle map. PWR 3 Is most linear and least sensitive of the full power modes, and is great for a rider who prefers a very linear throttle. PWR 4 Is the 'softest' and most user-friendly of the power modes, for those looking for the least initial throttle torque, this is the best option.

Bear in mind that each mode makes the same power, so you have the ability pick the throttle map that best suits your riding style, or the type of riding you are doing.

We have preconfigured ECU images that have been fully dyno and track tested and will work great for your bike, or we can make optimal setting recommendations for your own customized image.

Your ECU is located on the left hand (clutch) side of the bike. It is underneath the triangular panel below the fuel tank. Simply disconnect the two wire harness connectors and pop the ECU from its mounting bracket.
We will ship outside of the continental US, but at an additional charge.

Each ECU is return shipped with $290 in insurance. If you require more, please contact us after your purchase.

After your purchase is completed, you will receive a confirmation via email that includes a questionnaire regarding your motorcycle and your preferences on our flash settings, as well as the address you'll send the ECU to.

NOTE: This flash will produce error codes initially as a result of the ECU having been powered off of your motorcycle while attached to our flashing equipment. This will normally clear in a few key cycles and rides, but may require manual clearing using an OBD2 compliant code scanner and Euro 5 adpater like this.
